Our client wanted to develop a program for a group of high-performing fast-track individuals. They wanted to grow a community of collaborative innovators and develop out insurance propositions against specific themes which could be developed to go to market, and to do this in a structured, paced, manageable and experiential way.
Ninety deployed a self-guided program called the GYM based on its insurance innovation methodology, the 123 Framework. This is an 8-week digital program that takes teams through the innovation process, bringing together diverse teams of x4 participants to work through developing out ideas with daily 25 minute tasks, on their project.
The program kicks off with two ideation sessions on the challenge. After the ideas are generated, the teams receive daily challenges via Ninety’s digital platform through which they develop the concepts. The teams work with a variety of innovative tools and methods. The program not only takes the idea forward but also helps the teams grow their innovation skills through learning by doing. At the end of the program, all teams pitched their ideas in a dragons’ den-like event and a winning idea was chosen.
Our client has now run the self-guided program three times as part of their talent development program. Through these, over 15 ideas have been developed ready for investment decisions to progress/pivot/fail. Our client has also grown a community of over 50 innovators experienced in innovation methodology mindset and tools who had come together to collaborate.
The program has received excellent feedback and engagement levels throughout and the ideas which have been developed have been captured through their journey.
