Turning leaders into innovators.

Three days, one leadership team, and a way of working they'd still own long after we'd gone.

The point wasn't the ideas we'd leave behind. It was the skills they'd keep.

The problem

Zurich's Enterprise Services Leadership team wanted to strengthen its innovation capabilities — with a sharp focus on business resiliency and sustainable operations.

3 days to take a senior leadership team from a standing start to a shared, structured way of generating and assessing ideas.

Senior teams don't need theory; they need a practical method they can trust and reuse. Zurich needed a structured approach to develop ideas and align on the opportunities actually worth pursuing.

Leaders don't want a lecture on innovation. They want a method that survives the room.

What we did

Ninety ran a focused three-day Innovation Bootcamp built around the team's real challenges.

  • 01Framed the problems. The team developed sharp problem statements, so effort went to the challenges that mattered most.
  • 02Generated and pressure-tested. They brainstormed solutions and assessed each against desirability, feasibility and viability — the same lens we use on live projects.
  • 03Took the best further. One of the most promising ideas was developed through a second Bootcamp session, proving the method on real work.

The outcome

Zurich's leaders left empowered and equipped, with a practical toolkit of innovation skills ready to apply to real business improvement.

More than a single workshop, the bootcamp gave the team a strong, repeatable foundation for future innovation — a way of working they could run themselves.

In their words

Your team was great. I've managed consultants over the years — some good, some poor. Yours were firmly in the ‘excellent’ category.

The takeaway

Leave the method, not just the ideas.

A workshop that produces ideas is easy to forget. One that leaves a leadership team with a method they trust — and proof it works on their own challenges — changes how they operate long after day three.
