Generali, one of the world’s largest insurance carriers, set out to unlock the potential of its 70,000 employees across 50+ countries by creating an environment where innovation could flourish across every level of the organisation.
We partnered with Generali on an intensive 90-day sprint to bring this vision to life. Together, we developed a group-wide strategy and a governance model that would support sustainable, impactful innovation. To kickstart the ecosystem, we launched cornerstone initiatives, including a global innovation fund to back promising ideas and an international network of innovation champions to drive engagement.
Chief Innovation Officer, Generali
The strategy focused on setting up a group innovation function as innovation enablers for the business units rather than simply innovating on behalf of them.
Generali’s innovation journey has since gained impressive momentum. The ecosystem has been instrumental in delivering their “Innovation, everywhere for everyone” vision, earning multiple industry awards and creating measurable value. Innovation is now embedded across the business, empowering teams to take bold steps and contribute to Generali’s long-term success.

SCOR's Global Life division had made solid progress embedding innovation, but they needed a clearer view of how to maximise these advancements to take the next step on their journey.
SCOR engaged us to conduct an Innovation Healthcheck, providing a candid assessment of their capabilities. Over 10 weeks, we interviewed 20+ business leaders, surveyed 500+ employees, and analysed over 4,000 data points to benchmark SCOR’s innovation maturity, in key areas, against other global insurers and highlight opportunities for growth.
Deputy CEO, SCOR Global Life
The Healthcheck findings became a catalyst for change, highlighting strengths and opportunity areas for growth, guiding SCOR’s leadership in reshaping their innovation strategy and structure. This new direction is now driving SCOR’s innovation capabilities forward, with a clear path toward sustained growth.
